Well i just had to have this! What a let down! EL had been promoting this recenrly, so I thought id purchase when gwp came around. My main problem with this.are the weird grainy bits that come out. I wonder if i got an off product. The colour is awful for pale skins so.i use this under a lighter foundation for a glow. By far my biggest dissapountment jn a very long time

I had high hopes for this. I'm a pale gal, Double Wear in Ecru. In Mac, I'm NW20. Once applied and rubbed so that color starts to appear, it turns orange on my skin. Plain and Simple review here. Hahahah Oompa Lumpa.

I really dislike this. It's orange on my skin and makes me look like a greaseball. Just... terrible.
It's looks great on my Mom though. It's gives her a nice glow.

Okay I got this as a sample so don't know the price but in general Estee Lauder isn't cheap. ORANGE ALERT. I have light olive skin with warm undertones and this made me look like I had smeared my whole face with liquid bronzer. It's also highly perfumed. I can't comment on it's moisturising properties or what it would be like as a sunscreen because I immediately washed it off and threw the rest of the sample in the bin.

A great product, but terrible on NC/NW20 or lighter skin.
The application, scent, finish and wearability is great (its ultra natural, slightly fool-proof, matte but dewy if that's possible, and just looks like great skin but better). But it just looks decidedly orange on me - I'm a neutral NC/NW20-level with some redness.
Have given it 3/5; 1 point off for lack of colour options, and another because although its good, its not HG quality to me.

I saw this on Pixiwoo a few months ago and wanted to give it a try, so when it showed up at my CCO I picked up a bottle. I've recently switched to TM and tried this as I had been - Moisturizing then using this on top and found that it did give me a little to much shine. So using it skipping my morning moisturizer work better and I only had to lightly powder my face to reduce the shine.

I'm a neutral skintone and for me if I wear cooler toned clothes (whites, blacks and dark grays) I'll pull Cool. On those days this would slightly turn orange, so I would not suggest it for anyone that is Cool toned. With that all being said, for a quick moisturizer and some color to even out your skin tone I really started to like this product.

However there is something in EL face product that irritated my sinuses. I had a bad experience with Futurist foundation and several months later trying this product all of my same issues came up again. So I was only able to wear it for a few days before I had to find it a new home. Pretty sad since it was still expensive for a CCO purchase $30.50.

I bought this about a month ago, right after Estee Lauder reformulated and tweaked the packaging, but I think it's still relatively the same as before. The product is no longer in the oval, hard plastic bottle. Now it's in a soft plastic, squeeze tube-like package, but I like the new packaging better as I can probably squeeze out every last bit of product. Packaging aside, I really, really love this product. I've been using this in the cooler weather as I can get away with SPF 15 in the winter and the sheer tint is something extra. I'm a NC20ish and the tint gives me the perfect amount of color to even out my skintone. I think if you have a lighter skintone than a NC20, the tint will be fairly noticeable. I have to say that this does not offer any kind of coverage. If you want to cover sunspots, broken capillaries, etc. This will not do it. I also find this tint to be rather long lasting. Even though Estee Lauder markets this as skincare, I still treat it (tinted version) as makeup. The first time I wore this I used a makeup wipe at the end of the day, out of habit, and was surprised to find the wipe covered in light brown residue. It had lasted an entire 10 hour day. The only thing about this moisturizer is it's pretty expensive as they have upped the price to $43 for 1.7oz. Depending on what each person is looking for, some might find it worth it, others not. I just wish they would have the sheer tint version with SPF 30 so I can use it in hotter weather.

I first heard about this on pixiwoo on YT. I had first tried the Origins VitaZing - which is supposed to be similar. I thought the VitaZing looked crazy dark on my NC20 skin. This was hard to find - they didn't have it at my EL counter at Macy's - and were trying to tell me that there was no such thing...and I mean even their regional manager was there that day, telling me there was no such thing (NOT cool, EL...).
I ended up getting this through a swap, so I did not spend the $37.50 this costs, but that is a lot for a moisturizer! I like the glow and healthy look this gives my skin. I use this, and then all I have to use is a concealer for blemishes, and then a light bronzer, some blush, and eye makeup. It feels nice to let my skin breathe, instead of using a heavy foundation, like I usually do. I would like to re-purchase this!
EDIT: OK....after trying to figure out what was breaking me out - figured out it was this. I'm so sad! This looks so amazingly gorgeous on my skin until it breaks me out!

I wear this EVERY day! If you already have pretty good skin, then this is a fantastic alternative to wearing light foundation or other tinted moisturisers. It still feels like skincare as opposed to make up, but it evens out the skintone beautifully and gives a lovely healthy glow.
I have to admit that I am lucky in that I have good, normal skin so this might not suit people with oilier complexions and certainly not for those who want any coverage. However, this is also an excellent base on which to apply foundation if you wish to.
The initial site of a pale blue-white cream left me a bit wary but once applied and rubbed in, it's stunning. The benefits of the suncreen just add to this already great product.
P.S It's the one product I wear which is guaranteed to have people comment on my skin and how lovely it looks......that's worth bulk buying this product as far as I'm concerned!!

Could not live without this product. If I had to pick one item of makeup I would pick this up!
There are 2 versions of this as described below, I have used both. I went to buy a new one and they only had the tube with the gold cap which I was told is the new version of the other 'old' tube with rounded cap. Apparently has been improved, has more antioxidents in it blah blah blah! To me they are pretty much the same product.
This new one is just like the old one but less scratchiness because of the little beads, definately seems to have less beads. The scent of cucumber is just amazing. The sheer tint is very subtle, I am NC37 and can hardly notice a tint at all. But it does cover and I'm amazed how much better my skin looks immediately after application. My skintone is evened out and it leaves a nice subtle dewy finish (not oily, I am combo/oily and can easily wear this without looking greasy). I can wear this with just concealer and skip foundation most days - or I mix this with a small pump of my foundation and feel that is enough coverage.
Will continue to buy this over and over again, it is quite pricey but I think it is worth it. My previous tube lasted me about 5 months.

I love this stuff! My skin is fair. I have a couple of scars from an auto accident. EL Daywear makes my face look wonderful. It evens out my skintone and hides my pores. It forms a slight tint that matches my skin perfectly. I still use a moisturizer underneath (estee lauder time zone) and an eye cream (estee lauder time zone eye). When I don't want to wear foundation this is a perfect alternative. I like it better than any other tinted moisturizer I have tried. I use a concealer to spot treat. What I've been using as a concealer is EL full coverage face and body. My skin looks great with this in all lighting, even outdoors. My skin does not look shiny but has a radiant glow. HG for sure. I'm new to the EL brand but so far love it.

I got this the other day and so far, I really really like it. It smells nice and does what it says it does, leaves a sheer tint one shade darker than your natural skin tone.
It leaves my skin dewy and sunkissed so I really like it. It hasn't broken me out but I'm waiting a bit before I pass judgement on that.
On a normal day, I would wear concealer under my eyes and either MAC MSF natural or bare minerals, depending on how much time I have. Now I just put on the EL Daywear Plus and then powder all over with Bare Minerals Mineral Veil to control any shine and set any concealer. These two products work beautifully together and leave my skin looking so healthy and glowy but not oily.
The only cons are the price (60CAD after taxes) and the amount in the bottle. Yes you don't need a lot at all for your entire face but for the price I'm paying, I think EL could afford to make a bigger bottle.
So far, I love this product and would definitely re-purchase.

So after asking for a sample of this from my local Debenhams store I couldnt wait to try it after watching youtube videos and seeing how popular it is. I just liked this product right from the moment I applied it - The smell of the product is like cucumber and is so fresh. It does come out a greyish colour but blends perfectly in my skin and totally evens everything out leaving me with lovely glowing skin. I dont need to add anything else on top although I have seen people add foundation over the top but not me. I have been using this since the beginning of summer after buying the full size and still have a good quarter left so yes it is expensive but one product I will continue to buy again and again. I have got my cousin on to this too and she is so impresssed. I also get lots of comments about how good my skin is and it is totally down to this product.

I REALLY wanted to like this. I saw this on Pixi2woo and Pixiwoo and was excited to try it. Unfortunately it doesn't really work on my very pale skin. For some reason, it is really hard to blend and then you can tell I have something on my face that is too dark on me. Maybe this will work in the summer when I am more tan.....

Pro: Smells fresh, easy to blend, very sheer coverage to no coverage
Cons: Gave me little itchy bumps on my cheeks after a few mins of applying. Pricey for amount.
Wanted to love it but I just couldn't.

this was my first purchase from estee lauder and i think I'm hooked now. I was looking for a good moisturizer with sunscreen since all the other I've tried left a white caste on my face and felt pretty heavy. the sales lady recommended this and I've been using it for 2 month now but only sparingly since I don't want it to run out because it is very pricey over $40 cdn for such a small container. I also feel that because of how it's packaged and won't be able to get every last drop. I will normally wear this on days where I don't feel like bothering with foundation and it gives the nicest glow to ur face that just makes u look radiant like uve had ur beautysleep without looking like u have any product on ur face. another thing is the SPF level which is only 15 not enough for a day at the beach in my opinion. I will (sadly for my wallet) continues to buy this since I have just not found another daytime moisturizer that compares with this one.

I was really excited to try this product, but it dissapointed me.
    Pros:
gave skin a dewey finish, pleasent fresh cucumber scent
    Cons:
did not cover blemishes or redness, broke me out midly in pimples, stopped using it, used it one more time, broke me out in hives/pimples
i do not think estee lauder is good for sensitive delicate asian skin because my mother also has had bad experiances with estee lauder.
i returned it. luckily, macy's has a very loose return policy :)

This felt awful on my skin. It comes out white with blue beads in it, and when blended into the skin, it felt like it was scratching my skin, it wasn't really rough or harsh but definitely didn't feel good at all. It took a lot of blending to get the blue beads to disappear and for the moisturiser to stop feeling like it was exfoliating my skin. Once i had blended it fully, my skin looked muddy and dark, nothing like my NC30 skintone, and it did nothing to cover redness. I would not recommend this at all, and think sticking to a traditional tinted moisturiser (not a one size fits all, tint release formula) would be better, or just make your own using a concealer and moisturiser. I am returning this because it's defintely not worth the £30 i paid.
